Ministry to healthcare facilities has taken on a renewed importance. Our members took a step of faith to reach out to hospitals and nursing homes to share our Hope magazine, designed especially for these facilities. The answer was enthusiastically “yes!”
Before 2020, broadcast cameras, microphones, and mixing boards were not on the radar. But when Reach Beyond Canada added their ministry to ours (and their studio) early in the year, it was clear God knew what would be needed. When lockdowns came, the studio team was hard at work getting the Good News out—reaching hundreds of thousands of homes in the Middle East.
While we do not know all God has in store, He has been supremely good to us. And the doors He continues to open are breathtaking (just take a look at our work in Nicaragua or Cuba—stories like governments inviting us, or growing and deepening churches, or unimaginable partnerships.) And we intend to faithfully follow Him through these doors.
By the grace of God, the ministry of sharing the gospel did not stop in the face of the pandemic. With the help of many, we were able to adapt, to grow, and to thrive. God opened so many opportunities to serve in innovative ways.
Though GO (Gospel Outreach) Trips aren’t happening on location, we’re taking the message online! 523 households participated in the first online-only GO Trip, connecting with people online. Evangelism outreach and training continues with digital events.
Around the world, our partners on the ground continue to introduce people to Christ using God’s Word. Through new initiatives, God has opened up opportunities to meet practical and spiritual needs at the same time! While methods adapt, the message remains the same.
