There is real need. One out of seven Chilean women is a mother by the age of 14. Crime, drug abuse, and materialism are on the rise. Suicide is becoming an epidemic, especially among young people. Even though Chile is regarded as one of the most progressive, economically strong countries in Latin America, what’s missing is the gospel.
On the streets, in their homes, in marketplaces, in churches, in parks, or at the beach, people won’t say no to a beautiful Esperanza (Hope) magazine. Some will even cry when they read the message of hope in God’s Word. As people are led by the Holy Spirit, they begin to cultivate change in their communities, spreading God’s love and impacting others.
