Giorgio Gori
President
A veteran at ShareWord Global, Giorgio has worked in both for-profit as well as the Christian charity sector with some of the biggest organizations in the world. Speaking five languages and having lived on three continents, Giorgio has pastored, raised funds, and since 2013 has led the growing international ministry of ShareWord Global. Married to Jacqueline, they live in Ontario with their amazing labrador, Samson.
Terence Rolston
Vice President of Ministry
Terence joined ShareWord Global in 2023 after working with Focus on the Family for 23 years as Vice President, and President. While there, he helped equip families with practical advice based on Biblical truths. Terence and his wife, Joyce, live in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Ava Cummings
Vice President of Development
Having started at ShareWord Global in 2018 with her last role as Director of Development, Ava, now the Vice President of Development, is an award-winning leader with over 25 years of experience in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. With a focus on fundraising and development, specifically in Major to Mass Giving, Planned Giving and Foundations, she has proven strengths in team development. With the final culmination of achieving her Certified Fundraising Executive credentials (CFRE) in 2023. Ava brings foresight, energy and long-term strategic thinking to her role, driving ShareWord Global forward to help achieve its ambitious growth mandate. Ava resides in Toronto and uses her love for the Arts to share the life-saving message of Christ with local churches in her community.
Andrew VanderPloeg
Vice President of Marketing & Communications
Andrew joined ShareWord Global after an 18-year run as a branding consultant. In that role, his primary focus was working with Christian non-profits across North America, the UK, and Australia, leading several award-winning campaigns, and facilitating significant growth for the ministries he served. Andrew, his wife Lauren, and their three beautiful children, are based in London, Ontario.
Artur Borges
Director of Ministry USA and Brazil
Artur has been deeply involved in ministry life for the past 20 years, serving in many positions in pastoral and leadership roles. Including a number of international opportunities such as the Mobilization Coordinator for Reach Beyond Canada & Director of International Engagement for ShareWord Global. Most recently, Artur has successfully launched ShareWord's ministry in Brazil. He graduated from Word of Life Biblical Seminary in São Paulo, BR with a Bachelor of Theology in 2008 and received his Master of Theological Studies' degree from Heritage Seminary in Cambridge, ON in 2016. He brings a great mix of leadership, international experience and passion to see God's Kingdom expanding to all nations. Artur and his wife, Andrea live in Waterloo-ON.
Jordan Chanin
Brazil Regional Manager
Jordan has been in full-time ministry as a pastor and missionary since 2018 before joining ShareWord Global in 2024. He is from Vancouver, Canada but developed a great love for the people of Brazil when he went for a 2 week vacation in 2021 and found himself serving churches around the country ever since. He completed his Bachelors of Applied Theology majoring in Biblical Studies at Columbia Bible College in Abbotsford, Canada, and has a passion to work with local churches to see the love and truth of God be shared with all people around the world. He currently lives in Curitiba, Brazil.
Mirtes Pereira
Project Executive
Mirtes has worked in the administrative area of private companies and since 2019 she joined SWG. She speaks three languages, which she learned while living abroad and where she worked with the local church in that country to bring the Gospel to Brazilians. She lives in Salvador with her daughter Julia, where she has been a member of the local church for over thirty years, having served in various areas of ministry.
Cátia Avelino
Ministry Coordinator
Cátia has always been deeply involved in ministry life. Over the last 20 years, she has held different leadership positions in local churches, and performed important social actions in the poorest parts of her city, Belo Horizonte. Since she was 16, Cátia has preached the Word of God with creativity and enthusiasm all over the world, especially in Africa, where she has demonstrated her heart to serve through evangelism, training local leaders, and teaching theology. Cátia graduated from the Federal University of Mina Gerais in History and in Theology with a specialization in Missions.
Ygor Thade
Global Development Officer - Brazil
Ygor Thade, a former professional soccer player, experienced a profound spiritual experience with God at the height of his career. At 30 years old, he heard the voice of God, which prompted him to retire from sports and dedicate his life to pastoral and evangelistic work. In 2024 he joined ShareWord Global, furthering his commitment to faith-based service. With a degree in Theology, Ygor has spent over six years as a pastor and public speaker, offering training and encouragement to various churches and their leaders internationally. A native of Santos-SP, he now makes his home in Curitiba-PR with his wife Bruna and two daughters, Betina and Lorena.
