My name is Denver Packalen, and I am thrilled to be participating in a Gospel Outreach (“GO”) Trip to Brazil with ShareWord Global.
Our goal is simple yet profound: to share the hope of the gospel to every corner of the world. We do that by mobilizing local churches—our brothers and sisters in the faith—to join us in sharing the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ with Scripture, to the people around them. We empower local churches through training, resources, outreach opportunities and a community of like-minded evangelists to support and encourage them.
As I prepare for this incredible journey, I am humbled by the opportunity to be an instrument of change and a vessel of God's love. Together, we can make an eternal impact, touching hearts and transforming lives through the love of God.

My Story: Over the past few years, the Lord has been shaping my heart for missions in ways I didn’t expect. As I study Missions and Ministry at Redeemer University, I’ve been learning that the Great Commission isn’t just a verse we quote but rather a calling that we step into. Saying yes to this GO Trip to Brazil is one way I’m choosing to take that step of faith. God has been teaching me what it means to surrender comfort, control, and convenience. I don’t want my faith to be confined to a classroom. I want to live it. I want to share the hope of Christ not just with words, but with humility, service, and love. Brazil is a place filled with incredible people, deep spiritual need, and amazing opportunities for the Gospel. On this trip, we will be partnering with local ministries, serving communities, building relationships, and encouraging the local church. My desire isn’t just to go and help, but to learn, to serve, and to be used by God in whatever way He sees fit. Personally, this trip represents obedience. There have been moments in my life where fear, comfort, or distraction could have held me back. But I believe the Lord calls us forward, not because we’re fully ready, but because He is faithful. I’m stepping into this trusting that God will grow me, stretch me, and use this experience to shape me for future ministry. I would be incredibly grateful if you would consider partnering with me. First, I need prayer. Please pray that: God prepares our team spiritually before we go. Hearts would be open to the Gospel. We would serve with humility and unity. The Lord would deepen my trust in Him through this experience. Second, if you feel led to support financially, your gift directly enables me to go and serve. I don’t see this as my trip, but as something we do together. By supporting me, you are actively participating in what God is doing in Brazil.
