En What they needed to hear
In the vibrant Chongwe district of Lusaka, Zambia, Mrs. Rev. Chiwala and Deaconess Monde met two women who approached them with open hearts, eager to hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. With honest words and hopeful eyes, the women shared, “We are tired of a life of sin.”
Touched by their openness and readiness for something new, Mrs. Rev. Chiwala and Deaconess Monde opened the Bible and read Romans 10:9: “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” They then shared about the joy, peace, and purpose that comes from walking with Christ every day.
Grounded in the truth of God’s Word, they guided the women through a heartfelt prayer, inviting Jesus into their lives. And in that beautiful moment, everything changed—both women joyfully gave their lives to Christ, stepping out of the past and into a brand new beginning with Him.
