My name is Melissa Larocque, and I am thrilled to be participating in a Gospel Outreach (“GO”) Trip to Kenya Go Trip 2026-Kenya with ShareWord Global.

Our goal is simple yet profound: to share the hope of the gospel to every corner of the world. We do that by mobilizing local churches—our brothers and sisters in the faith—to join us in sharing the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ with Scripture, to the people around them. We empower local churches through training, resources, outreach opportunities and a community of like-minded evangelists to support and encourage them.

As I prepare for this incredible journey, I am humbled by the opportunity to be an instrument of change and a vessel of God's love. Together, we can make an eternal impact, touching hearts and transforming lives through the love of God.

My Story: Hello, my name is Melissa Larocque. I am absolutely thrilled that I am able to go to Kenya to share the good news of Jesus Christ, as He commanded us to do. I am a single mother of a teenage daughter, after the loss of my husband 2 years ago.  I grew up in a Christian home and made a commitment to Christ in my teen years, but for years I was not following the Lord. After my husband's death, I recommitted my life to Christ, and was recently re-baptized. My life has changed so dramatically, but to be honest, I never thought I would go on a mission trip. I am quite shy and reserved, and this is definitely out of my comfort zone, but I feel the Lord has called me to go, despite my fears.   I have never shared my faith with anyone, but I am willing to step out in faith, knowing that God will be right beside me, and will give me the words to speak His love to those that do not yet know Him. I understand that the days will be long, as we are up early, and walking many miles in a day, in very hot temperatures, but I trust that God will see me through. It is my desire to step out in faith and be obedient to Him, so that He will receive all the glory and honour due His name.  “That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of GOD the Father. “ Phil. 2:10-11. I have committed $500 so far to the $3,000 cost of the trip. I am asking friends and family that are able to contribute, to donate to the remaining $2,500 that I need to raise, to participate in this trip. I will also have a loss of wage for some of the time I need to take off from work, so any amount, big or small, will be a huge blessing to me. I pray that as you give, you know that you are a part of God's salvation plan for the lost. Some of us can go, some of us can give, and some of us can pray.  We all do our part for His glory.   Thanking you in advance for sharing God's love to me, and to those whose hearts He is already preparing, by giving and praying for me, and the team, as we travel to Kenya on this Go-Trip.
