Plant the Seed. Change a Life.

In the Middle East, the Next Generation faces a unique challenge. For them sharing the gospel is like spreading seed along the path in the parable of the Sower. When the gospel is shared there, often the Evil one comes in and steals it away before it has chance to take root in people’s hearts. 

That was the case for Hawa*, a young woman who was so hurt by the loss of her mother, the concept of hope had become completely foreign.

“I couldn’t ignore the pain that filled my heart,” Hawa said, reflecting on her life before the gospel had taken root in her heart.  

“I gave up [on God] many times and wondered, where are You, Lord? Why did You allow my mother to die? Why did You take the most precious person to my heart?"

Hawa needed someone like you to show her there was more to life than pain and loss. And Hawa, is not alone. 

“For most of these kids, it’s not that they’ve rejected God. No. Many of them have never even heard Jesus’ story. They were born on the rocky path. The gospel has never even had a chance to take root in their heart, before the evil one snatches it away from them,” said one of our partners* working on the ground with churches in the region.

“In this context, even basic ideas are revolutionary:  

God Loves you.  

God will forgive you.  

God will never abandon you.”

That’s where your support comes in. Because it will allow faithful believers in the Middle East to run gospel-sharing classes called Spark Clubs where kids can learn these revolutionary truths.

These groups began simply enough. Their mission was to introduce the Next Generation to the simplest, most basic, truths of the gospel. But in this context, they were a revolution.

And lives are changing because of it. 

“Through Spark Club, I discovered that He is the one who created me, gave my life value, and designed a plan for my salvation,” Hawa—now a faithful believer—said after attending the Spark Club. 

But this is just the beginning. In the Middle East, and around the world, the Next Generation is in desperate need of this message that changed Hawa’s life.
