My name is Lily Arkema, and I am thrilled to be participating in a Gospel Outreach (“GO”) Trip to Brazil with ShareWord Global.
Our goal is simple yet profound: to share the hope of the gospel to every corner of the world. We do that by mobilizing local churches—our brothers and sisters in the faith—to join us in sharing the life-giving gospel of Jesus Christ with Scripture, to the people around them. We empower local churches through training, resources, outreach opportunities and a community of like-minded evangelists to support and encourage them.
As I prepare for this incredible journey, I am humbled by the opportunity to be an instrument of change and a vessel of God's love. Together, we can make an eternal impact, touching hearts and transforming lives through the love of God.

I grew up in a loving Christian home where faith was part of everyday life, but for many years, it was something around me rather than something truly personal.
As I got older, I focused more on friendships, achievement, and sports, trying to be perfect and filling my life with busyness while quietly pushing God to the background.
During the isolation of the pandemic, I began struggling deeply with anxiety, guilt, and loneliness, and for the first time, my faith was truly tested. In that season, Christian music and prayer became a lifeline, and God was able to show me that His presence and love was all that I needed.
Through the highs and lows of friendships, relationships, sports, and difficult mental health battles, God continued to pursue me, teaching me that the things I tried to build my identity on could never truly satisfy. Even when I ignored His voice or made mistakes, He remained faithful, guiding me toward healthier choices, deeper community, and a stronger relationship with Him.
Today I still wrestle with the brokenness of being human, but I know that my identity and hope are found in Christ alone, who never abandons His children and continues to lead me closer to Him each day. This is why I deeply appreciate prayer and financial support as I step deeper into my faith, listening to God's calling to be a witness to His other children and blessing them in return for how much God has truly blessed my life.
