About the campaign

This summer, I have the amazing opportunity to go on another GO trip with my school, Woodland Christian High School. This time, we have a team of 21 students and we will be traveling to Nicaragua to serve in the community there. We will be volunteering in schools, sharing the gospel with the students, and running day camps again, similar to VBS. Last year I was able to go to Brazil on my first mission trip and it was such a growing, stretching, faith building trip where I learned so much. One of my main takeaways was that I learned how important it is to lay down my life for others and to love sacrificially. The trip made me realize how blessed I am to live in Canada and that I should never take anything for granted. Nicaragua is the second poorest country in the world, so I believe that God will continue to reveal things to me through my experience there also. God has blessed me so that I can be a blessing to others and that is why I want to go and serve on this trip. To not only deepen my relationship with God, but to also share the love of God with the children and people I will be interacting with. It would mean so much to me if you could please pray for me as I prepare for this trip. Pray that God will guide our team, that our ears will be open to hear His voice and follow His direction, and pray that God's sovereign protection will be over us as we travel.
