After well over 100 years of ministry, the tried-and-true method of sharing the gospel through God’s Word continues while believers adopt new ways of reaching people through intentional, relational evangelism. This will happen across the country, including a particular focus on engaging Indigenous communities with God’s Word.

Work has also begun in partnership with a local organization to translate the Bible to Brazilian sign language! This is the second official language of the country, and will be the only Bible in the world available to the deaf community in Brazil. This is a massive project that could impact the country for generations

Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and is plagued by demonic activity, devastating weather and political corruption. Though almost all Haitians would identify as Christian, 3 out of 4 believers are also active in voodoo and other forms of unbiblical spirituality.
At the heart of spiritual warfare in Kenya is the issue of people practicing both pagan rituals in addition to trusting in God’s grace. Through our local partners in Kenya, we want to spiritually develop communities of men, women, boys, and girls, to promote real community transformation.
Uganda is often referred to as “the Pearl of Africa,” but despite its tropical beauty and warm equatorial sunshine, the country remains overwhelmingly crippled with spiritual and physical poverty. Believers learn a shallow faith, as the majority of church-goers don’t have access to God’s Word.
Daily life as a Christian in Sri Lanka looks very different than what we’re used to. Many believers live in rural areas across the country, and would need to travel hours, even days on foot to find a copy of the Bible. Even if you live in one of the major cities, you’re at risk of persecution. Last Easter, churches and hotels were targeted by a series of terrorist attacks, killing hundreds of worshippers.
In these regions that are rich with ancient history and culture, the need and hunger for the gospel is deep, but sharing the hope of Christ often requires caution, patience, and extra creativity. You can play an important role in helping from a distance—with an impact that’s just as powerful.
